Windows 11 Installation Assistant is Microsoft's official tool for upgrading Windows 10 to Windows 11. While the Media Creation Tool was the main way to update with Windows 10, Windows 11 has two tools that make the upgrade process even easier, in a similar way to using Windows Update.
When running the official installer, the terms of use are displayed. By simply clicking on Accept and Install, the entire Windows 11 installation process will begin, including downloading the necessary files for the installation to take place. The computer will restart a couple of times, but this is all done automatically.
The tool can only be run from Windows 10. What's more, if you have the Home version, it will be installed in Windows 11. So, if you want to switch from the Home version to the Pro version, you will need to use the Media Creation Tool. In addition to this, you must meet all the minimum requirements of Windows 11, such as having TPM 2.0 enabled, sufficient free space or an adequate amount of RAM. If these requirements aren't met, but you still want Windows 11, you will have to force installation from scratch using the ISO image.
So if you want to easily upgrade to Windows 11 from Windows 10, you can download and run Windows 11 Installation Assistant on your computer.
